A cinematic, skippable headliner reveal
The site opens with a choreographed introduction to the four headliners, while giving visitors the freedom to scroll or tap straight into the festival.
THE STORY
Web design and build for Zuri Group.
We saw the festival artwork’s fluid shapes and imagined them in motion, using a lava lamp inspired visual world to transform the static identity into something alive on screen.
From there, the experience grew around the festival’s central theme. A lineup this big warranted a cinematic introduction, so the four headliners take over the screen before revealing the full website. Artist portraits transform into moving video, drawing visitors deeper into the lineup, while typography in the About section fades away like sand in the wind, capturing the idea of experiencing something before it becomes a memory.
The result is a digital world designed to feel as immersive, expressive and alive as the festival itself.

DESIGN PROCESS
01
The site opens with a choreographed introduction to the four headliners, while giving visitors the freedom to scroll or tap straight into the festival.
02
Each headliner portrait transforms into moving video on hover, turning the lineup into an interactive experience rather than a static gallery.
03
The About section uses fading typography to express the festival’s central idea: experience the moment before it becomes a memory.
04
The visual identity extends beyond the posters into motion, typography, colour, atmosphere and interaction across the entire website.
05
Every part of the journey connects visitors to festival tickets, upcoming ZURI Nights, social channels and the mailing list without disrupting the experience.
06
The cinematic intro, artist interactions, animated storytelling and complete ticket journey have been carefully adapted for mobile, not simply scaled down.
