SandboxAnnouncing a new era.

Web design and build for Sandbox Festival.

The website was created to bring the brand’s new visual direction and a new era of Sandbox to life online.

Its stark grey and black palette, full-screen film, layered textures and pixelated imagery transform the refreshed identity into a living digital world. Timed artist reveals, city countdowns and dancefloor footage allow the website to evolve throughout the campaign, building anticipation from the first announcement through to event day.

The result is a digital experience that introduces the next chapter of Sandbox while immersing visitors in everything the festival represents.

01 / FULL-SCREEN FILM

A digital world built from film, texture, rhythm and anticipation.

The campaign became the interface.

01

A hero that drops you inside the event

A full-screen film, layered textures and festival data immediately place visitors inside the atmosphere of Sandbox before they explore anything else.

02

Timed lineup reveals make every announcement a moment

Locked artist cards use pixelated identities and individual countdowns before revealing each headliner at a scheduled time, turning the website into part of the rollout campaign.

03

Live event countdowns build anticipation in real time

City-specific countdowns run throughout the hero and location cards, giving every show its own sense of urgency while keeping the complete tour connected.

04

Four cities become one festival world

Brisbane, Sydney, Melbourne and Perth each receive their own moving location card, event information, local countdown and direct ticket journey.

05

The dancefloor continues beyond the event

The D-Floor media carousel brings real performances and crowd energy into the website, giving visitors a glimpse of the experience before they arrive.

06

Fully optimised for mobile

The immersive hero, timed reveals, countdowns, video content and ticket journey adapt seamlessly to mobile without losing the identity or atmosphere of the desktop experience.
